LE1600 not booting.

Hi, I'm new here.

My LE1600 stopped booting. It has been working fine but for last few months it was laying dormant. Now when I try to boot it with power adapter plugged in only the wireless light comes on and nothing happens. I removed the batteries, as they are completely depleted anyway, and tried to boot it, got same result. Resiting the battery or HD does not make a difference. Even the power light will not come on when unit is on power adapter, so it seems the batteries are not being charged. Did any one come across similar issue? Thanks.

you can try reseating the memory but if the power light doesn't come on, that is a problem. LE1600s do have a problem where they won't charge properly because the AC adapter connection at the tablet fails, but that doesn't explain why the wireless light comes on.

Are you able to charge it or get power to it when it is in the flexdock or convertible keyboard? I mean with the AC adapter plugged into the docking device, not the tablet.

Thank you for quick response. I did try reseating the memory, it did not resolve the issue. The tablet exhibits the same behavior regardless if it is directly connected to the power brick or in the flexdock, the blue wireless light comes on, I can hear the fan, and nothing happens. There are no other lights on, and it can stay like that for hours.
