Looking for a slate tablet 500-900?

I'm looking for a good slate tablet between the range of $500-900. I am looking for non-serious digital art in the slate. Also not to be INCREDIBLY slow.
I am new to the environment so sorry if my details aren't great :D

Hey there ianoreo,

I too was on that same quest about 9 months ago. I ended up with a used Motion M1400 and got Sketchbook Pro to go with it and that transformed my art experince. I would say however that unless you have a specific need for a slate, go with a convertible, and the M200 used seems to be a top choice around here for several reasons, least of which is its high resolution.
