    Default Any Updates Jumping Cursor?

    Hey Everyone,

My x-41 starting going nuts again after months of no problems. The jumping cursor is back. At some points it is making my tablet completely useless as I can not click anything because the cursor is jumping between the lower left and lower right corners.

Anyone have any new ideas or updates on how to stop this permanently or temporarily?

    Thanks,

using Notebook Hardware control and set the max voltage on 15 multiplier down should fix it and help the battery last longer.

    i am using
    6 @ .748V
    8 @ .796V
    10 @ .844V
    12 @ .908V
    15 @ .940V

To be honest I have never spoken with Lenovo about the problem. After purchasing my tablet and reading about how other people were experiencing this problem and Lenovo was not being very helpful I decided it would be a waste of my time. Especially since people had sent in their tablets, received new ones, and still experienced this problem.

I do not see myself purchasing a ThinkPad ever again. I find that my x-41 has never run very well and I have always had one problem or another to deal with.

I have been using NHC since my last post. I have the voltage at the same settings as you and it seemed to be working, until today. Strangely the jumping cursor is back, not as bad as before, even with the voltage turned down.

Anyone know what exactly the cause of this is?

what are you doing when it comes back? I know that it happens for me during a reboot and NHC has not loaded yet.

I was not really doing anything. My tablet had been on for about a day or so. Maybe my virus protection software was updating. I do believe that the cursor jumps more for me when I am running on battery life and connected to a wireless network. Not sure if that is just a coincidence or their is some sort of correlation.
