well since no one reply, I will reply, I tried this method and it works. Now, i just need to tweak my divx settings.
I have a lt c-500 with win 2000 installed and working. I would like to dual boot win xp with it on the same hard drive. Can I do this without a floppy (I don't have a dock)?
Can I use partition magic and create a partition to install xp on? I was thinking of copying the win xp files from a cd and then installing from the hard drive. Any how-to's on doing this that doesn't require a floppy?

Hi,
how did you get it to work ?
if you have a working installation,
could you please post a working harddisk image file
somewhere ?
Please have a look at:

Many thanks.

In that linked post it says you're after a Linux install?
Here's how to get it on your C-500: http://www.neurath.org/stylistic_lt_c500/
and here's the download for suSE: http://en.opensuse.org/Download
or...Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
I asume you've got a CD/DVD iso writer? If not: http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/
I was putting together an Ubuntu Linux CD-ROM last night but I evidently interupted the download or something. I'm going to try it again today....as well as suSE's Linux...see which one is easiest to install.
