Configuring for a new order

Hi John,

I am looking to order a Sahara Slate PC i440D. Couple of questions on configuration it. I cant decide on the 100G or the 200G drive (7200rpm). What is the experience? Does the 200G generates noticeable more heat or shortens the battery life?

I see the extended battery still not to be available. What are your thoughts there? How long do you think it will be before it arrives, or do you have alternative suggestions.

What is the current lead time on delivery on a unit?

As far as the hard drive, the experience shouldn't be any different and the heat and battery won't change with the higher capacity hard drive. I believe it just has one more platter than the 100Gb. I talked to the TabletKiosk engineer and while he didn't have the exact power consumption for the drive he agreed that it would be a nominal, if any, difference.

Extended Battery is a bit overdue and they are expecting them in the next couple weeks but no guarantees.

Current delivery time is 2-3 days from purchase to shipment.
