Remove the battery and disconnect the power supply. Push the power button, nothing happens. Reconnect the power supply and battery, then try powering on the notebook normally. Let us know if this works.
Dear Friends
This is the first time I write to these interesting forums. Though the first participation of mine is about a problem, I hope to be able from now on to offer solutions.
My Problem:
-----------
I have a toshiba notebook. The battery is almost dead as it has to be recharged every 15 minutes. Therefore I am using the power supply.
Yesterday, I left the computer turned on without the power supply. Surely the batttery ran out of charge fast and the computer hybernated.
The problem is that it cannot wake up. I tried to press the power button many times. When I press the button, the ordinary green light appears but no actrivity is there. The fan evewn does not work. Then in two seconds, the green light goes away.
Your help is highly appreciated.

I tried but it did not either work. Could it be a problrem in the power supply? The power indicator is functioning well (green) but nothing happens. Even the fan does not work...
It's possible the power supply is failing... Its output may have dropped and it wasn't enough to charge the battery but it was enough to run the notebook. Now it may not be putting out enough to do either. It could also be a hundred other things too. If you can test with another PS then that would be a good place to start.
