Now i#180;m a little bit wiser on my "pimp up the stylistic" project- on ebay i found a picture who shows me more about active displays and connectors.

is there anything left?
I did it. I bought on ebay an active display for my stylistic 4110P (with 4120-Motherboard, 133MHz more POWER ;)
The new display fits well in the tablet, but there`s one problem left: how do i connect the touchpad functions? The passive old display has this connector:

but the active display wants to connect with an other one:

Is this only a connector problem - the little board left the activ display is from the passive housing or do i need a new board to get the new pen-function work?
Sorry for my bad english, my german is better ;)

Do you still have an intact recovery partition? I've got a ST4110P but without the files from the recovery image it`s impossible to use the buttons or use the pen after you rotate the display. The drivers from the support page won't help.
My third photo shows a 51xx-display. Nobody in this forum saw the difference. Remarkable.
The solution for my problem was quite easy - there is no extra board. All what was needing was an other board type for the up/down buttons and a cable from this board to the wacomdigitizer. Thanks for the many helpful posts. I couldnt believe that nobody in this forum has ever opened his stylistic and had a look inside.
