Hi all

I am only an average user, I’ve got a Stilystic LT C500 to load all the maps and manuals I use off-road.
Googled to install XPTE, used a PC to install XP and replaced the HD in the tablet before first reboot. I’ve got a blue screen an the hd is’nt recognized, tried as slave and same thing happens.

Am I missing something or shall I buy another Hd?

When you run install on the pc, it already did some
configuration and selective copying based on the
hardware your pc has. It will work only if you are lucky.
The subject has been extensively covered. The procedure
is substantially the same for 3400, 3500, and lt. Do
some searching yourself.

I think that the fixes described, yours included, do not apply.

Taking back the HD to the PC did´t solve the problem,: "primary HD, none", placed it in an USB case and it is not recognised in other computers too.

I think that is an configuration problem I cant solve because the HD is invisible to any machine I put it in.

The problem described here allows the drive to be seen by other mchines, this one is not .

I think in this case you hosed your hard drive.
You said "blue screen". The hard drive has to be
seen and in fact booted from before a computer will
enter blue screen state. Otherwise it will just
stay in POST screen and tell you there is no boot device.

I have never heard of "hosed" used that way. It has more to
do with being descriptive of the fact that someone did something
to it to make it not work. If the drive just happen to quit all
by itself, it wouldn't be said to have been "hosed". But if you
were plugging it in and out of various computers and shorted out
something, then you are said to have hosed it. Reversibility does
not seem to be a factor, and I don't know if your disk drive is
fixable.
