Can you suggest any reasonably priced alternatives to Ultramon (multi-display utility) ?
Its a good program but 40USD seems a little steep for what it actually does.

Update: I'm running multimon (link above) now, in conjunction with MaxiVista ( http://maxivista.com ).
It looks like a nice utility for managing up to three displays.
Under a minute to download and run.
I'd say it's worth a look.

i've been using multimon for a few months now and have been relatively happy with it. it gets messed up when i rotate the screen on my tablet, which is easily fixed by closing and restarting the prog. other than that i've found it very useful.
