Ok so Ive almost nearly given up on windows for this tablet... I am only going to use it to run an app i developed anyways, and i would need IIS on a windows machine, so im going to throw apache + php5 + mysql on it and get it working that way.. .only problem is:
can anyone point me to a tutorial w/ getting ubuntu working on my X41T with all the features (most importantly is the touch screen, duh lol) working?
Thanks
Kevin

Hi!
I just got this X41t and thought it would be a perfect time to learn linux as well.
Ubuntu run's great on the x41t, with almost everything working out of th e box. For me performance is great, maybe 1.3 times the speed of windows.
I got lucky that Shane Sullivan had a series of posts outlining exactly what you need to do to get Ubuntu up and running flawlessly: http://shaneosullivan.wordpress.com/...ad-x41-tablet/
btw: Hi! (first post)
