I just got mine and in one day it has opened six times. I'm returning it.
I carry my M400 often when I'm using it and the CD drive "eject" button often hits my 1)belly 2)buttons on my shirt 3)somthing causing the drive to open several times a day.
I've thought about disabling the device and then enableing it only when i need it... anyone know any easier/better way? Is there a way in the software to "lock" the drive so it won't eject?
Thanks,
Nordy

Use the power off icon in the system tray. It looks like a blue and grey cd. Right click on it and select off. This will fix the problem. When you want to use the CD you reverse the proceedure.quote:Originally posted by nordy

Gfertig -- you spent that much money and after one day you are returning it? Are you serious?
I considered it. You only have 14 days if you are not happy with it. Heck I have over $2600 in it. I has to be right. I use the tablet alot for work. The cd problem is fixed with the power button switch. Now lets talk about the useless finger scanner. I had one of the first ones back in Windows 98 days. That worked great. This one is a joke. I ended up turning it off. I wonder how huch I paid for it.
the biometrics fingerprint scanner is included in the base unit, you didn't pay extra for it. You may want to consult your users guide before deciding you hate something. perhapse you didn't set it up right. Mine works just fine.quote:Originally posted by gfertig
