If you register your machine it gives you an option to extend your warranty if I recall correctly. If it won't let you call customer service and buy one.

A VERY and extremely wealthy) parent of a student I tutor just gave me a barely used T4020D... what a nice gift for medical school :) I have the original receipts and everything.
Having had a previous laptop with tons of hardware problems, I want to extend the warranty, to preferably 3 years... which should cover a few hard drive replacements, etc. How do I do this? I know that it's vaguely offered. I googled extensively for it and could find nothing. Any word on prices?
