Spyware maybe?
I want to prevent the screen saver from starting when my M1400 is plugged into an external power source. Under Control Panel->Display I've set the screen saver to never go on ie (None). Under Control Panel->Power Options I've set for the screen to never turn off when plugged in.
But I still keep getting a screen saver and I'm not sure what else to modify to block the screen saver. Does anyone know what else I'm missing?
Thanks,
Chris
Spyware maybe?
Chris (cphickie),
I think you have a misunderstanding about the difference between the screen staying on and the screen saver running. They are two different things.
To turn off your screen saver, right click on your desktop, click on properties, select the screen saver tab and set the screen saver to "none". Press "okay" and you should be good to go.
Hope that helps.
Unfortunately, I have set the screen saver to [none] and it will still come on in my docked, externally powered M1400. Usually w/in 10 minutes I get the XP logo bouncing around on my screen. Very frustrating.
I wouldn't care so much, but I think it is throwing me out of remote desktop when I'm connected remotely to my M1400.
