I think the screens would be the same?
Greetings,
I'm looking to replace my tc1100 and was looking for some feedback from tc4200 owners with the outdoor viewable screen. How do you like it? Is it truely "outdoor viewable?" Have you tried to use it in your vehicle?
I'm currently using my tc1100 to support me taking traffic intersection photos for insurance companies. All day long, I use Streets & Trips with GPS to drive around Jacksonville, Florida. I use the drawing toolbar to "X" off intersections that I shoot. I purchased a RAM tablet mount for my Toyota Tundra and it works quite well. My interior looks like a cop car with my cell phone mount, hx4700 pda mount, tc1100 mount, and Pioneer XM2GO radio!
Most of the time my tc1100 is readable, but it bugs me when this Florida sun washes out the display. While I have tinted windows on my Tundra (front and back) I can't always have the windows rolled up since I have to take pictures of street signs.
Thank-you,
Derrick
Jacksonville, Florida
