About that loading delay: The Mindmanager team says its the result of a "known issue" with the tablet pc, and refer the user to Microsoft Knowledge Base article 815411. The article cites a patch (not specific to the tablet OS) that can help with loading of some eccentric programs. It can only be acquired by special petition to Microsoft Support. I petitioned, got the patch, and ran it on my Acer C102Ti. It makes no appreciable difference in loading speed, alas. Still clocks in at about 45 seconds.

It really is a great program:
I also tried Onenote these days. The best facility of Onenote is the way you keep view on all your files. In MM you can have the same by "storing" the files of a project in one MM-map.
But MM is much more. It is simple to use as Memory assistant, minutes-maker, brainstormer, flipover, organigram-maker. It can do the same as Journal: making notes, but it's easier to keep the notes together in MM.
Some minor probs are found in the menu structure: I don't like that the toolbar-difference between mouse and pen-mode is so large.
Wow, I am using it more and more!

    I bought it!

It's usable in so many ways on the tablet. I don't use Journal anymore. I do not long for OneNote anymore. Next step is to sync tasks with Outlook.
And syncing with Pocketpc works well.

I hope that soon there will be Dutch handwriting conversion.

I've been using MindManager now since the first day I downloaded it and purchased it 2 hours later..in healthcare, I find I can take my client's intake notes right on the screen, add branches for each symptom, add follow up notes to each branch from testing etc...this is great stuff.

Has anybody tried the new TPC-specific Brainbloom from MindGenius? Unfortunately I can't do anything until my ordered TPC arrives, and that looks like at least three weeks away now ... sigh.

Any vicarious experience I can get in the meantime will be greatly appreciated!
