    PersonalBrain, MindGenius, Mindmanager ...
Does somebody know of software comparisons on Mind Mapping? That would make life easier!

When I was researching these just after I got my tabby in January, MindGenius had a matrix in their website that listed their competitors and compared the features. That's how I found the MindManager that I now own!

Hmmm, I am afraid they removed that matrix: I can't find it.
    But thanks anyway.

    Does anyone else have suggestions?

If your interested in mindmapping on a Tablet PC then MindManager by MindJet is the way to go. They just released an upgrade of MindManager 2002 with Tablet PC support. I won't say too much about the features since you can find those (including online demo) on the MindJet website. What I will say is that it works terrifically!

For me, this is the "killer app" for the Tablet PC that I've been waiting for. Creating mindmaps with just the pen is a breeze using a variety of intuitive gestures. This product combines the ease and simplicity of creating mindmaps on paper with the formatting and restructing capabilities of computer-generated mindmaps. (By the way, I also own and have used MindGenius, however, as far as I know they have not yet incorporated any special features to take advantage of the capbabilites of the Tablet PC.)

As a beta tester for this product, I've been using it for several weeks now and can't really say enough good things about it. All I can say is that if you use mindmaps and you have a Tablet PC, then you owe it to yourself to check out this product.

    Hope this helps.

Has anyone tried switching between the Tablet and Non-Tablet versions of MindManneger to edit the same map? If so, have you experienced any problems?
    Thanks,
