I understand there are some solutions out there that allow you to hook up two external monitors to a laptop. Has anybody tried them? I know I can use the notebook LCD and an external monitor, but I'm looking to just have the notebook closed and use two monitors. I believe there are PCMCIA adapters with vga or dvi ports on them that would allow for this.
Any thoughts welcome. Thanks.

Well let me add to that request...I would love to be able to use 2 external monitors plus the CS monitor on my M400

After realizing that the Fujitsu port replicator for the T4020 and the Toshiba port replicator for the M400 have both VGA and DVI ports, I started a thread in the Toshiba section asking about dual monitors, and then indeed was able to get two monitors working using the Fujitsu port replicator and the T4020.
