Thread: I'm currently using the factory provided screen

Default I'm currently using the factory provided screen

I'm currently using the factory provided screen protector on my Fujitsu T4020. It improved the feel of the pen compared to writing directly on the screen before I installed the protector but I'd like even more friction or drag to help control my chicken scratching handwriting and make drawing in Alias Sketchbook Pro even more natural...

Is there a screen protector, a replacement pen nib, or combination of the two, that could give me more resistance in the feeling of the pen on the screen than I'm getting now? I'm looking for that elusive pencil on paper kind of feel.

    Many thanks!

Have you tried the writeShield screen protectors at pocketpctech.com? Pricier that many, but it adds some resistance to the screen along with a neat perfect fit. Helps with glare too. It's what I use and I have a friend who also loves his.

I'm not sure exactly what the feel of the Fujitsu screen protector is, but it's worth a shot. Also, switching to felt nibs increases the resistance a little (link: http://wacomdirect.wacom.com/wacomdi...95&sku=PSIA043).

Get the felt nibs from Wacom. They feel exactly like pencil on paper. Order a few though, because they wear down faster than the plastic ones.
