I bought bluetooth stero headphones to use with my laptop and mobile - but I'm having problems getting it to work correctly.

I can't get the "avrcp" to work with my tablet - I don't think that the pre-installed bluetooth software supports this profile. For info avrcp allows you to start/stop/fast-forward/rewind tracks from windows media player etc just by touching buttons on your earpiece.

I downloaded some other bluetooth trial software that did support avrcp and it worked great - so I know that its possible to get it to work. For info this trial software only allowed a minute or so of listening before cutting off - and its not available for consumers to buy! :(

Does anyone know where I can download Bluetooth Software to allow this?

I think IVT's bluesoleil will do the trick :) http://www.bluesoleil.com/ I downloaded version 1.4.9.5 or something like that and my A2DP works great. I'm using the Motorola HT820 headset and my C303xmi. I use winamp and all those above functions work correctly.

Bluesoleil was the trial software I was refering to! However I don't see how to get the non-trial version without buying some extra bluetooth device - I can't find it anywhere. I'm not sure if it can be bought on its own.

You could try the Toshiba software, I recently confirmed that has the profiles you want, don't know how it would run on your tablet though, Knowing which tablet you have and ideally which bluetooth chipset it has might improve your chance of useful replies.
