I don't think that the M200 will support a 2GB SD Card. Wasn't there a notice that came out saying only 1GB was supported?
Matt
My M200 crashed and I had to get my hard drive replaced. Unfortunately, Toshiba didn't install Windows after replacing my hard drive. I have the Recovery CD, but my external cd-rom is missing its power adapter. Thus, I don't have anything to boot the CD-rom. Does anyone know where I can buy an adapter for the Toshiba cd-rom? (PA3352U-1CD2) If not, is there anyway to run the Recovery CD? Perhaps, if I move it to my 2GB SD card? Any help would be great. My laptop hasn't been used since November.

I was afraid of the no 2GB recognition. I also have a 512mb SD card, but I'm afriad I can't copy the entire CD to the SD card. Any other recommendations?
I found the support bulletin.

These models are limited to 1GB in the SD Card:
Portege M200, M205-S809, M205-S810
Tecra 9100
I would just order a new power adaptor from Toshiba or look on eBay to see if there are any available there.
