I'm looking at picking up a tablet for taking notes at school, doing homework, and probably some games. I've decided to go with Toshiba for the brand but would like to know what model and if there is some sort of student discount program. I'd also like something that can take full advantage of Vista.

I'm leaning toward the M400 with 2nd battery, 1G RAM, and the lower end dual core but it is rather expensive at over $2700. That doesn't even include the upcoming nVidia option. The R10 with every worthwhile upgrade still doesn't impress me, even with the lower price point.
