lm Sure this is here but I can't find it. I am trying to figure out note taking. I liked GoBinder, but now 2006 has a limit on files imported, which makes it impractical. Not liking One Note too much yet. so at the moment I am using the Journal. I am new to all this so sorry if this is dumb... is there a way to clip a piece from a web page and insert into the journal? I have looked but can't find any info. Is there a good place that really tells you what and how to use the features on Journal or any of the other applications? Thanks so much

There is a free "clipping tool" which either came with your tablet or can be downloaded from the Tablet PC download area at Microsoft. With that tool you can use the stylus to draw a circle around any portion of any web page, image, document -- whatever --, copy it to the clipboard, and then paste it back into the Journal.

What you get with this is simply an image in the Journal. Any links from the web page will be inactive in the Journal because you are basically taking an electronic photocopy of part of the web page and pasting it into the journal. Like a scrapbook. I am not aware of any way to paste web links into the journal where the pasted web page would be an active link on the journal page.

    I hope this helps.
