i have a toshiba, but use the writeshield....it's GRRRRRREEEEAAAAATTTT (as Tony the Tiger would say).
I was thinking of getting a writeshield protector to a) protect the screen (though many feel it is unecessary) and b) to cut down on glare (this to me, is necessary).
Any opinions on this in the gateway forum? Thanks.

Please provide links to products mentioned if you are going to post a topic about that product. I'm not aware that they even make screen protectors for widescreen tablets like Gateways'. Do they? If so, where can I get one- I'm very interested in this too, not so much for the protection, but more so to add more of a grit/drag to the screen (so it might feel a bit more paperish).
is it that hard to google "writeshield"?
Search right here at the other forum listings, plenty of very recent insights and advice on the benefits of Writeshields, despite their price.
BTW, do first check and see if they even make any larger than for 14" standard size LCD's.
Sorta- I've had worse trouble ;) But I certainly haven't found a Writeshield for any of the Gateway convertibles.quote:Originally posted by us024077

I saw the postings for other tablets. My qualifier was "in the gateway forum." The writeshield probably works at least slightly differently for different manufacturers/models, so I was limiting the question to gateway. When I searched in the gateway forum I didn't get any results, so I asked. I just searched again and this is the only thread in the gateway forum.quote:Originally posted by bmhome1

Here is a link to the product, specifically for the M275quote: Please provide links to products mentioned if you are going to post a topic about that product...

With all due respect, if people need the link to know what I'm talking about, they don't have one. I'm asking for opinions about a specific product, and if people have them, they'll know what I'm talking about. Not trying to be a jerk, but I thought the original post was pretty obvious to the audience I was trying to reach.
