Looks like it they screwed up again. Doubling the price point is one big issue, but just the total missunderstanding of the tablet platform is pretty damn annoying.
Well i guess this is the kind stupid remarks by morons with a job that makes the platform acceptance being so slow.

I have been an avid reader of Gizmodo for a long time.....but with such a bunch of false and completely off statements like that....i don't see why i should rely, even a little, on that blog for any kind of accurate statement.
I hate people who don't give a **** about their readers and are too lasy to research a minimum the subjects they are writing about.

My Tablet has a resolution of 1400x1050 - that's a larger desk area than my 19" monitor - its also the fastest PC we have in the office. Most people here, in the UK have not seen them or heard about them. When I'm using it outside or at the airport I get lots of interested people wondering what I'm doing!
We need a manufacturer over here to show a tv add demonstrating how it works - marketing it as a laptop with added functionality (to get the ball rolling).
Saw a great Gateway ad yesterday for their Convertible notebook. A REALLY good ad.
That Gateway ad is amazing.
I think tablets / convertibles are starting to catch on. Some colleges are requiring their freshmen to buy tablet pc's.
That Gizmodo article is excellent. Absolutely hilarious. Who knew I could do all of my everyday computing on a PC (a slate no less) that was "useless as an every day PC"? But then again, I'm not a text-only cubicle dweller - at least not since I got a Tablet PC.
Do you know if there is a clip of it on the web?quote:Originally posted by Wcrocker

Thanks Trev. When I got home I turned the TV on and a GW convertible ad was on. It is pretty good.
Cheers,
