If you want to start fresh, then delete the partition and go from there. You will still have an 8MB partition though.. No way around that unless you divide the drive, but that's a pain IMHO
When I am trying to reinstall, I have an option to select a partition. I can choose the C: (57224 MB, 40477 MB free) or create a partition in the unpartitioned space (8 MB). If I choose to set up Windows on the C:, it says: "You chose to install Windows XP on a partition that contains another operating system. Installing Windows XP on this partition might cause the other operating system to function improperly." Do I continue Setup using this partition? Do I delete this partition? My goal is to start off fresh. I want to wipe everything out.

Thank you.
Everything went fine fo the most part. When installing the utilities and drivers, the computer didn't automatically restart like the instructions said it would. Also, there were a couple of error message regarding Infineon security thingy. I figure once I set it up and get the new drivers from online it should be ok. Anything I should be worried about or watch out for?
How do I get Alias Sketchbook back and some of those other programs that come with the MotionPak?
Also, I'm having trouble updating the BIOS driver. WinPhlash is not finding the file even though i've downloaded it to my desktop.
Thanks for any help.
I believe that there should be a MotionPak CD somewhere with the materials that you got with the tablet, unless someone forgot to put it into the accessory box..
As far as the BIOS file, I forget if it comes zipped or not. I remember that one form of the BIOS file came as a .WPH file, and the other came as a .ZIP that needed to be extracted before installation. You are browsing over to your desktop when you look for the file, correct? WinPhlash does not automatically search out the BIOS file.
Yes, I have browsed for it, but it's not finding it. it is a .ZIP file so maybe i need to extract it first. Is that right? I thought the WinPhlash program worked before. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
The file MUST be extracted from the ZIP before using it in WinPhlash
I tried that. Now I get an error message:
"Corrupted interface descriptors in the new BIOS file.
Part Table Signature not found in the Interface.
Error Code: -161"
Am I missing something??
You might want to redownload the BIOS file from Motion's support site and try again.
I've redownloaded about 10 times now. Nothing seems to be working. I think other than that, everything has gone alright in this process. I appreciate your help, Chris.
