I am using a dayplanner case. It was a close out item at Office Depot. I also have a pleather one that has better padding from dayplanner as well.

I got a Case Logic Neoprene DVD Player Case 9" (SKU-PDVN-1) (http://www.caselogic.com/case_logic/...?modelid=56477) and it fits the LS800 very snugly.
It is not as good as carrying the LS800 in a sport jacket pocket (http://www.segal.org/tablet/photo/), but there are times when a carrying case is more convenient.

How did you mount it in the Dayplanner? I have been looking for a binder even trying to get someone to custom make it that has them for the 1600's but all of them say no not yet for the LS800.
Thanks

I dont have it connected to anything in the case. you can use velcro if you like. However, I dont recommend it. The heat will build very fast. I use the case for transport only. I have anothe case that I picked up at office depot. Costs around 10 dollars clearence. Here are some pics. This case is a little thicker but provides more protection

I've been using a hip-pack from The North Face (the Roo). It has two compartments, with the back (inside-most) offering a snug fit and some padding for the LS800. Very convenient for non-business outings. I'm not sure if they still make this exact version, but there is a Roo II; best to bring the LS800 along to check the fit before buying.
