This is a very n00be question. I see the "clock wise" arrow near the screen hinge of T4020D. I just got this tablet PC yesterday and I am still learning my way with this new machine. The manual says the screen has to be rotated clockwise from the notebook form to the tablet form. For the other way (going back to the notebook form, rotate the screen the other way.

I am curious to know if the screen rotoates either direction (both clockwise and counter clockwise from the notebook to table form). As I get used to this machine and start handling it without looking at it (ie. it's like driving a car; you don't look at the shifter position as you know it without looking at it, I am concerned I might try to rotate the other way.

It can only be rotated in the one direction.

When I was researching the T4020 I looked at the Fujitsu website that had images showing the tablet screen turning at a different angle from the keyboard (I remember thinking "Cool - that could be useful in meetings"). But it can only be turned in the one direction.

As the tablet is so lightweight and easy to turn/move its not been an issue for me - but I would agree that the images are misleading. And it would be more fun if it could rotate both ways.

TravelSite, thanks for clarifying this. It is good to know that means I won't turn the other way by mistake (Initially, I thought it would let you rotate either direction and if you rotate the wrong way, it may twist the wires which may be running through that hinge).

good question! it's unidirectional, but there are times, when using the tabletpc as a dvd station, I wished it was bi-rotational due to viewing angle.
