sooo...after reading all the great info on this
sooo...after reading all the great info on this site (seriously) I decided to buy a toshiba m200 protege. I bought online from the toshiba site. It still says pending CC Verification on the status.
I have emailed them to no avail and the hold times are always over 20 minutes whenI call.
2 questions.
1. those of you who have bought from the site, is the status accurate?
2. is this what I shoudl expect as par for toshiba support?

I already have a portege M200, but I just ordered a Toshiba Satellite and I'm experiencing some problems with them. It seems like its never a good idea to buy from any company online during new year. The time it takes to verify is so long and such a pain in the butt. To make issues worse, they charged the credit card weirdly. I'd wait for those 20 minutes and let them know how angry you are!
FYI I just ordered an M200 on 12/30/05 -- it was in verification until yesterday 1/4 ...
