The problem is that when I'm using Journal (1 or more windows open) and I switch back and forth between tablet and laptop mode a lot explorer.exe will hang. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does the taskbar becomes unclickable (while my current program runs fine). I have to kill explorer.exe as a process and run it from the task manager to get things back to normal. This works fine except that it closes all open explorer windows and it's a pain. I created a batch file to kill and restart explorer.exe, but I quickly found it to be useless since I can't navigate to the icon to use it when I need it.

I tried to reinstall it from the recovery CD, but either I don't know how or it's impossible.

Any ideas?
