Hi all,

I have just bought a Compaq tc1000 tablet - it is second hand.

I have used the restore cds to set up a new install.

I have a BT Voyager 2100 wireless ADSL (that my laptop connects to wirelessly fine)

However on the "view wireless networks" of my tablet nothing shows up :-( but on the from of the tablet there is a wireless symbol with a flashing green light.

Is there something I have not done or is the network card broke ???

Any info would be fab !!!

You should post your question in the Compaq/HP forum, you will get several replies pretty quick. I am not familiar with a BT Voyager 2100 wireless ADSL. Is it 802.11b? Do you have WEP or WAP turned on? Have you tried to "refresh network list" in the wireless network connection window? You can also try installing netstumbler to locate all available networks - you may have other access points from the neighbors causing interferance and may have to set your access point to a different channel. Try driving around down with the tablet and see if it will pick up any access point at all. If the green light is flashing, the wireless card is turned on, but you can try turning it off and back on again via the Q menu.
