simple, naive question. my final question before buying an ls800.
Can I put my edge ericsson cingular pcmcia card into a reader and usb it?
Will the LS800 be able to power it?

any thoughts? I would really appreciate it. I have solved the usb to RJ45 plug [motion stock item]
this issue is my last hold out.

It should work - I have used a EVDo card with a USB adapter. Provided your Edge card supports it (i.e. it works with other PCs) and you install the correct drivers then it should work fine.
