Your list should have stopped at Toshiba M4. That way, you can flip a coin and pick one of the Toshibas. But, that's just personal opinion.
My job requires me to mix a desk work and meetings with clients, kind of spec writing/systems analysis work. I drown under a weight of paper so I have proposed that I need a table PC to replace my old laptop.
My research has lead me here! and its a great forum. I am starting to get lost as to what I should be looking at buying now.
Budget is around £1500GBP, at the moment I short listed:
Toshiba M200 - with 1GB ram and a Dock with CDRW/DVD
Toshiba M4
HP TC4200
My current laptop is about 2.2kgs and I am not sure I am happy about going higher than that. I would like a dvdr but I could live with a cdr only if I had too. Primary use is MS office inc Project+Visio. Battery life is not a huge concern, I live with only 2hours now but the more the better. And I would use in laptop mode a bit too.
Is there any others I should be short listing? I am unable to get my hands on any of the kit before purchasing so I would need to be very sure of my choice.
Any advice welcomed, thanks.

Take a look at the Lenovo X41T
Easily the lightest convertible, if you find it in your price range
Fujitsu t4020. It has an exchangable port for when you need an optic drive. I think it would meet your needs and budget. I don't think it would be heavier than what you want. Just do a search for them, they seem to be pretty nice.
