Default I just got my Acer C314 and I was going to insta

I just got my Acer C314 and I was going to install the two 1 Gig RAM sticks I have for it and I pulled the RAM cover off the bottom and there was... ONE RAM stick, not two. Peeked in the guides nothing, did Google search nothing, checked Kingston's site nothing, checked Acer support on the web, nothing.

Can someone that has upgraded their 314 let me know where the other RAM slot is. I'm guessing that it is behind the keyboard, but I don't see a screw for the keyboard, so I'm here for guidance from someone who knows :-)

    Many Thanks!

Many Thanks, Subah. While this Acer is not the same as in the post, it did cause me to look at the screws on the bottom of the system again and one of them in marked "KB" so it might be the one that releases the keyboard.

    More to follow...

Nope, that single screw marked KB on the bottom is not the only thing needed or it's not related to the removal of the keyboard. On the bottom there is only one other screw that seems to be in the area of the keyboard, so I removed it, but still no joy.

I have worked with laptops that you had to pull the keyboard, sometimes pretty hard, but I'll not be doing any of that until someone who has done this on the Acer C314T can tell me the trick.

No, it's the same, but there is only a single screw on the RAM hatch on the back of the system and other screws being shown on the 104 don't match.

Did I miss something in the 104 post?
