Default The manual states that, "to insure life of the b

The manual states that, "to insure life of the battery drain completely before chargining so the calibration won't be as messed up" now so if I quickly go downstairs I'd have to unplug my ac/dc right? So for the first 5 mins I'm going to be running battery, does that mean when I recharge it again after 5 min I'm shortining the life of it? When is it okay to charge it? 10 percent power left or wait till windows diaolog pops up telling me to plug in the ac.

Since my wife likes to carry the tablet down to the kitchen and such, she's using it for an hour or so. I should just drain the bat then charge it again right? damn batteries!!!

I think the manual stated it clearly... Drain it until it's pretty much dead. This is the same for RC cars or any rechargable battery. They have a "memory" if you want to call it that. If you only drained it 80% and then recharged it, you'd never get full use out of that battery ever.
This really counts for the first time you use it before you charge it.
    I'm not an expert though.

    Which Tablet do you own?

hey hey so back to the subject! would you guys recommend to charge the bat even if I only use like less than 10 percent? When should I start chargining when I deplete it completely or when its below a percentage.

damn manuals why couldn't they give me a number.

Whoa!!!! Unless your tablet is different than just about any other, it has a lithium based battery. Unlike RC cars (which usually use nickel based batteries), lithium batteries do not have "memory effect" and can be damaged if you let them fully drain. In fact, lithium batteries "like" to be fully charged so using your tablet for a few minutes and putting it back on the charger will not be bad for it. Take a look at the following for more info:
