Default Hey all, I was researching whats the best table

    Hey all,
I was researching whats the best tablet pc to get and upon reading multiple of blogs and reviews i finally got that X41 is the best choice to get with its
    Outstanding battery performance.
    Weight.
    No Heat problem.
    etc...

SO i checked the ibm today i found that they added 2 to the series.

    hxxp://www.ibm.com/products/finder/us/en/finders?sid=188888221132520728086&N=200004+4294966 468&DMC=Operating+system&Ne=18&pg=nbfinder&tmpl=%2 Fproducts%2Ffinder%2Fus%2Fen%2Ffinders&DVC=Operati ng+system%3a+Microsoft%26reg%3b+Windows%26reg%3b+X P+Tablet+PC+Edition+2005&trac=1T10FN01A

Before they added i decided to get the W7TABLP.

My question for you did you hear about any problems that existed in the previous releases that they might have fixed in these 2?

I dont live in the states so any problem with the product will have to wait for lots of time of shipping and so on. I want to make sure what iam buying wont give me headaches.

I have the 18695CU ... and its great! Although, I'm going to upgrade the HDD to 60GB and upgrade the battery from 4c to 8c.

In my opinion ... get the 18695CU or W7TABLC. Although, the 18695CU only has a 40GB HDD, 4c battery and Intel 2200BG Wireless.
Both W7TABLP and W7TABLN are missing a Fingerprint reader, and W7TABLN and has no integrated wireless.

It's really your call. Depends on what you need (and maybe want =P)

    Hmmm,
Well dont quite care for CDrom with a dvd burner and the fingerprint reader is only used for verification right ?

Well a password would be fine as well. I care for the battery and the bluetooth. So W7TABLP would be my choice.

    Here is a question though.

I noticed that the screen res is 1024, is it a problem while reading ebooks? like if ur using it in tablet mode and vertical, does the whole page fit? Because thats why i really care about, reading comfortablly without keeping on zooming in and out.

    Thanks.

Actually, I got the W7TABLP and it does have a fingerprint reader (don't know about the others) it's just not listed on their website.

    Peace,
    Cathie

Well Guys, If i wouldnt believe you i wouldnt be here in the first place. Anyways its good that it has fingerprint, seems that TABLP is the best choice of the X41T(s). Anyways people using X41T can you tell me if the screen vertically would fit an ebook and you can read comfortablly or u still have to zoom in and out.

    Regards
