Hi all,

I have a very strange problem. Whenever i use headphones in my tablet pc tc1100, i can not hear specific sounds. This problem occurs only with heaphones (when i unplug my heaphones i can hear the sounds clear and nice out of the tablet's speakers) and only with the TTS speech and mov files. All the other sound files seem to play just fine.

Any idea what can be wrong?

Check the speech settings under the Control Panel sound options. There are separate settings for regular sound and speech-related sound input and output, so changing these may help.

First step would be to see if another pair of headphones works.

I have tried several pairs of heaphones, but nothing seems to work correctly. The problem is only in speech output and mov files nowehere else. Wav files play just fine. It is so strange!!!

People please help!!!! I still have the same problems. I tried a new pair of headphones and although i can hear something now, the volume of the output is very very low. Any ideas what can be wrong? I am thinking to purchase USB heaphones, but i am afraid that i will have the same problem. The output from the tablet's speakers is nice, lound and clear
