Holy cow! What a surprise! I ordered my Gateway

Holy cow! What a surprise!
I ordered my Gateway CX200X on Saturday and was told it would ship
on the 18th of November for a delivery on the 22nd of November.
I just happened to be working from home today because I have to pickup the inlaws at the airport shorty and the door bell rings. There is the Fedex guy with a nice Gateway box!!! Holy cow very nice!
I have it unboxed and it's charging up. I'm de-installing the
Mcaffee suite they give a 90 day try on. I use my free Computer Associates anti virus. Oh well looks like I got a very busy weekend
ahead of me. This is my first tablet, so I need to get used to all
the cool software on here. I also have to convince my wife why I
should be using it at all. It's supposed to be a Christmas present.
The funny thing is when I go to check my order on the Gateway.com website it says my unit is still in production and is scheduled for 11/22/05 delivery....hehehe...go figure.

I ordered mine on the 11, at night, but I made all sorts of updates on my M280e...

Oh yeah, I live in Utah too, propably is gonna take longer, it is schedule as yours was to be delivered on the 22nd

GT shipped my extra pen by UPS, and had a link to check the shipment
But there was no link for the TablePc it self, just a number... Well, I took this number at Fedex and BAM, it is the tracking number. I just figured out with your post. My Table is at Memphis right now, schedule for the 21.. TKS!!!

Cyclo I added the 80gig hard drive and ATI 600 video card for free being that
Best Buy had it for 1249. You will probably get yours any day.

digitalsol I knew that the bestbuy 2610 did not have the ati card. That's why I got it from gateway. Also the 2610 @ bestbuy has a 5 in 1 card reader where as the cx200x has the 7 in 1 card reader. So all in
all I think I did ok to get the ati card, the 80gig upgrade and the 7 in 1 card reader with no shipping charges for 1399.
It's so funny I got an email from gateway saying my unit shipped on the
17th. Meanwhile I got it on the 17th. There a little behind on there web updating. Also my wife told me I can use it now. I don't have to wait for christmas!!! I took the day off So you all know what I will be doing today!!!

Awesome Cyclo! I'm still migrating my files from my Compaq note book to the CX200X. The pen on mine is also very easy to use.
I haven't even gotten into the meat of the tablet stuff yet. Like me
your going to be having a busy, but fun weekend! Enjoy!

Gateway just emailed me that they shipped it today and fedex tracking says its still in China... Is it possible that I get it today?

Unlikely . . . International shipping typically takes 2-3 days at best and unless you paid quite a bit of money they will not process it within one day :(

International shipping doesn't take that long though ;) Fedex will say "On truck for delivery" if its on its way to your house that day
