OK umm... I'm not sure if this is suppose to happen but i own a 3400 and this thing especially if its pluged in while using heats up bad!

And it just so happens that my PCMCIA cards are getting VERY hot!

Now my main problem is that I'm trying to run an external DVD player on it and i have a PCMCIA to USB2.0 adapter and 192mb of RAM and when i play a DVD it will play smooth and great anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes without a problem and them CHOP CHOP LAG LAG SKIP SKIP....

Now i'm trying to figure out what might be the cause of this. Possibly the heat issue?

I cant seem to think of anything else i can do to get this baby movin. Maybe i need a 3500? Will that play it?

But then again if i play Unreal tournement it will also play smooth for about the same amount of time then practically stop and playability is a 0%

Any ideas?
