I've had my 3500 now for 2 years and the battery is now due to be retired - I've been pretty good with my charging/discharging since new.

Would you say that 2 years is a good life ?

I am now looking to buy a new one, are there any better/newer models, 3rd party batteries or only the Toshiba unit....
