My old stylus is not accurate and there is a delay when I write fast. I got a replacement, still not very accurate. Anyone here get a replacement stylus that greatly improved the accuracy?thanks
Yes, my new pen has made a world of difference. My old pen was accurate, but I would have to press really hard to get it to write, often times I would have to write a word 4 or 5 times before it would capture the entire word. I also would have to click a button several times in order for it to register. My new pen works exactly the way I would expect it to, and I'm completely happy with it.
My pen seems to work well in tablet writing applications but takes a lot of pressure to write in ink art applications even with pressure set to minimum, almost afraid to break the glass. Sometime it seems no responsive particular reason? My cpu usage is below 25% during these instances.
I like the feel of my wacom pad and pen better in comparison.
I guess I should call Gateway?

Well, I have to say the new stylus still not 1mm away from center. I am thinking about if gateway send another old version stylus.
oth, just remember, the new gateway tablets arent wacom... the old ones were. Gateway was retarted for using something else. I feel bad for anyone who bought these tablets.

I got replacement pen today and the pressure issue with Ink Art is resolved to my satisfaction. Took a week via UPS ground to get it.
okay, I have to know. I called Gateway tech tonight to ask about a couple things- one was the pen issue. I have been experiencing similar behavior as listed here. First the tech said there were no known issues, and then he said he could send me a new pen with a $75 hold on my credit card until they got my original pen back. Is that anyone else's experience?
Out of curiosity, when you talked to tech, what did you say the problem was?

When I ordered my replacement pen, the tech took a credit card and said they might or might not require that I return the pen, that they don't always require defective parts be returned, and said that if they did ask for the pen back, they would charge the card if they didn't get it back.quote:Originally posted by bpjen

They took my credit card number and I got a ups return tag for the defective pen.
Accuracy was not an issue with my old pen just pressure using pencils tool in Ink Art included software application. With pressure set to far right (max) could barley see a trace without a good amount of pen pressure. Other tools worked but now respond better as well.
Finally this pressure problem is not related to use with Adobe products. That's a separate issue.
