Anybody notice the same thing as this?

When I have a usb thumb drive in the port, or a usb HD - the damn fan seems to run like it is trying to push the tablet off the desk. This is just sitting idle, not even pulling data from it...

unplug the device and it seems as if I just put it in the freezer and instantly it is not hot anymore... and it really wasn't hot in the first place.

Is there a hidden fan switch in the usb port I didn't know about???
