When you use the Thumb Drive (with no docking station) what drive letter does the Thumb Drive use? Is it the same as your multidrive (which I'm assuming was D?)?
Peace,
Cathie
I have done a search on this question within this group and came up empty. I just started using my new X41t with dock (about 2 weeks). When the tablet is docked, and I connect a USB thumb drive (I have a Lexar 1 gb and a Sandisk 256 mb) neither drive appears in the "My Computer" window. My C drive and external DVD/CD are there, but no USB drive. The USB drive is listed under hard drives within the device manager. The USB drive is working properly (according to Windows), and the drivers are up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drive from the device manager, with no success. Both drives work on other computers. This only occurs when the tablet is docked. When undocked, the USB drives appear in the "My Computer" window. Any idea why this is happening? Is it a dock issue or a Windows issue?
Thanks.

Thanks for the response Cathie. Since posting my question, I have figured out that I had a conflict with one of the shared drives on my work network. I do not use the drive and as soon as I disconnected from it, the thumb drive appeared.
