Awesome! Im glad I own a X41 Tablet in Australia ... =P

The Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet wins the Editor's Choice award for being the most comfortable to use and also for having excellent communication offerings from gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wireless a, b, and g support. Its super light for a Convertible and the build quality is second to none.
It's down on processing power compared to the rest of the field but it's no slouch.

they use a tablet without the jumping cursor :D
I didn't realize the X41T had an 802.11a radio. I thought it was just b/g. I am in American so maybe that is the difference.

The high-end models such as 18666SU ... have 802.11ABG
My 18695CU only has 802.11BG
I have been playing around with a colleague's X41t for about a week now.I am really trying to like it!It is well built, like the keyboard, etc. But...when you put it side by side with a monster power system like a Tecra M4 (2.13 770, 533 FSB, 128 Nvidia, 80 GB 5400 HDD, 2GB PC4200 RAM and 1400 res)...liking it gets more difficult. The Tecra makes the IBM look like it is running in reverse! Yes, the IBM is more portable and weighs less...battery life is great because of the slow processor. That is the strong points of the system. However..dollar for dollar...the Tecra will blow it into the weeds as far as computing horsepower and related fuctionality. Will the X41T be able to run Vista in its current configuration? I do like the keyboard though...
I believe the X41T vs <insert here> may come down to how much you plan to use the tablet as a tablet. If you plan to use it mainly as a laptop (or desktop replacement), then the slower performace of the X41T becomes hard to justify. If you plan to use the tablet functionality often (40%+), then the X41T really makes sense. I believe the other feature that makes the X41T a good tablet is the lower heat you feel holding it.
I guess the other significant issue is what software you will be running on it. Mine runs fine with Norton SystemWorks (i.e. A/V), Norton GoBack, IE, MindManager Pro, OutLook, OneNote, ritePen and Adobe Acrobat Pro all runing at the same time (and of course all the other stuff that normally runs in the background).
It all depends on what is important to you. No doubt the M4 is supercharged when strictly looking at raw power. Sounds like an M4 is in your future :-)
Good luck.
^ Also ... apparently the M4's battery isn't as good as the X41T's. I might've heard wrong ... =/
You heard right :-) The M4 needs an additional select-bay battery to get runtime up to and over 5 hrs.
