Hi Could someone who has a v1100 please goto SYSTEM/HARDWARE/DEVICE MANAGER and tell me what the drivers sre for the hard buttons and the network (lan) as I cant locate these, I have the recovery cd's but they wont work on my new hard drive for some reason, also if any one needs these cd's let me know and i will put them on a bit torrent site or ftp.

Hi,

Warning accepted and will not proceed, however there is lots of unhappy people with viewsonic products where there support service is absolutley terrible, there is people like myself whom have purchased goods from this company who are not willing to help with problems like the one i have described, likewise there is people who have legal licence keys that come with there product and thus should be allowed access to this software.

However I respect the rules of the forum and will keep any future posts to be within the guidelines.

If anyone would like information on where they can obtain Recovery Cd's for the viewsonc v1100 (Please note that they will only work on original viewsonic hardware) hence the reason I am having a problem in the first, the cd's wont work because I have changed my hard drive, still if you need them and you meet the above criteria then PM me.

Hope I am not violating anything by saying this.

Hi there,

I have a V1100. Hard drive failed. I installed an 80GB. Works great and installed a fresh copy of TPC2005. However, I have no drivers. No ethernet and some others.

I called Viewsonic. Product no longer supported and they do not have any drivers or recovery CD's. In fact, their web site is such that the product never existed. It's not even in the discontinued products section!

Someone needs to stand up and be a resource to others that have problems like ours. Let's pool our resources and get these things working!

Yes, can someone show me a back door way to recover a admin password, i have teh V1100 and i bought it privately. It came with admin tools on it and i don;t know and cannot go to anyone to recover teh password....can anyone help?
