I was in a hurry and now that black pen is hiding from me. It;s probably ran away with my bluetooth headset.

Anyway cheapest I could find was 27.99 with EPP. Lenovo wants 39 retail, while ecost and tger direct want like $40-50. Question is to I replace it with stock or upgrade to cross or motion pen.

I know this won't be fast, but did you try the Lenovo pen survey. I'm not sure if anyone has received their pen from that, but I thought I'd let you know

Out of curiousity, is it possible to buy a digitizer pen, that isn't specifically FOR the X41 Tablet?

I'm interested in one with an eraser at the other end ...

    Possible, or impossible?

Funny you should mention that survey. I did it when I actually had the pen, but from what I read nobody has gotten their pen yet. Seems like I shouldn't hold my breath

I have the Motion LE series pen and I am very happy with it. More comfortable than the stock pen, I can actually reach the button comfortably, and the eraser on the tip is so much more natural than pressing a button. For me it's a must-have.

Where would I be able to find this pen?
    Thanks

does the motion pen fit in the pen holder of the X41?

n0m0n: You can find and order the pen on Motion Computing's website under 'Accessories'. Make sure you get the LE series pen, the older M series pen is basically the same as the stock X41... i.e. not much of an upgrade. If you're outside the USA you'll have to get in contact with a Motion distributor (Filbitron in Canada.)

UPA_Knight: Due to its larger size the Motion pen does NOT fit the X41T's pen holder, so you'll have to carry it along independently, which is too bad. This is the case with pretty much any 3rd party pen. But on the upside, you can keep the stock pen inside the X41T as a backup to the Motion.
