Hello all- i'm a college student who just got his new LE1600 a couple days ago. I absolutely love it. Everything was going good until I tried to install Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005. I've got my tablet networked with my computer. Since I didn't order an external CD drive for the LE1600, I tried installing M.S.A.T. over the network, by sharing the E: drive of my computer, and browsing over on my tablet, and trying a network install. Okay.

Heres the problem- Setup begins to install and everything goes fine just for a second, then it stops and says "You cannot install MSAT with USB GPS over a network unless you first perform an administrative installation." Now, I searched and searched and found this http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;318251(#4).

However, when I tried to do an admin install (all parameters were perfect- no typos), it stops and says "The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and you can access it, or contact the vendor to ensure that this is a valid windows installer package" :-(

I tried copying directly from the cd to the tablet and running there. Same admin install message. I made an ISO of the cd's and dropped it onto my thumbdrive and tried to install like that. didn't work. Please help! I'm up for any suggestions.
