I have recently purchased a m275. I'm using it in an automobile as an "entertainment center". I have instlled Windows Media Center Edition, but hoped to be able to use the pen for screen input. I'm not very familiar with TabletPC, so maybe I misunderstood TabletPC. Is there any way to use the pen as an input device under MCE? I had hoped to just install the correct drivers and be on my way.

Without Windows Tablet PC Edition, I doubt you're going to get the digitizer to work. TPC edition has the special drivers and software to enable the digitizer and pen. Therefore, you probably need to reinstall the TPC edition if you want tablet functions.

That seems to be what I'm experiencing now. Are there any third party apps that enable pen input through other OS's like MCE?

I'd try google or sourceforge but I sincerely doubt it. What do you need so badily that only MEC is required? Can't you juse use the bulit in windows media player into xp...never have seen MEC though.
