Got a call from Motion today and we worked it out. Those guys are very nice! I really appreciate their good customer service and will definitly remember that when its time to buy a new tablet (soon I hope!).

Just got my M1300 back from Motion repair (broken power switch). I took the hard drive out before I shipped it to them and when the tablet came back the connector that goes from the hard drive to the motherboard was missing. I thought I left it connected but Motion says it wasn't there when they got it. I don't think I lost it but I'm not interested in blame, I just want to reconnect my hard drive and get back to using my tablet. I would happily pay for a new connector. HOWEVER the Motion repair guy says they cannot just sell me the part. He says I would have have to ship the tablet back to them then pay for them to put the connector on and ship it back to me[cry] He said that this is an industry standard part used on many laptops. I spent 2 hours searching last night but I can't find it anywhere.
Anyone know where I can get this part? Or do you have a contact at Motion who could get them to sell me the part and overnight it to me?
