1 motion, 2 pens, and the case that has a stand in it, i think its called the executive clam shell, because you can use your motion right in it and it carries the keyboard.
All of teh tips and information on this page has been great, but I've got two final issue's to resolve before I buy.
1. Pens: I don't plan on losing them, but I very likely may, or have them stolen by student (punk kids are like that). I like the eraser on the end of the Wacom pens, they're about $50 CDN, I'd like more then one backup pen though, what should I do?
a) 1 extra pen
b) 1 extra pen + 1 wacom pen
c) 3 extra pens + wacom pen
d) 1 wacom pen
e) 3 wacom pens
2. Case: I ABSOLUTELY need a case for the unit (beside the hardtop cover). I don't plan on using the unit inside it's case. I don't want a case to protect it during use, but more of a carrying case. I walk around a lot between classes, and it sits on a table during lunch wnen I'm eating or getting food (like my laptop does inside it's case), so I really need it for protection more then anything. The clamshell case looks good because I can carry (read: showoff to friends and teachers) the keyboard as well. So which case would you recommend and why?
Thanks a bunch *hopes for answers soon so he can email his distrubtor and get the ball rolling*

So I'm the minimalist opinion-- I take my motion to classes and take notes on it, and it survives just fine in my backpack. As for teh pen, I have trained myself to always put it back in teh slot when I'm not using it, and I haven't lost one yet, whereas I lose normal pens with alarming frequency.
so I suggest option b)
I can't help you with the pen question. I have the slip case and I use if for protection only. I normally take it out of the case to use. I can't recommend it. The problem is the plastic screen protector. It's absolute crap.
I don't think you will use the key board in class. You may want to drag it to the library if writing a lot.
My vote is for option b too. As for the case, I've been battling with myself for the longest now because I want that clam shell case, but really don't "need" it. In the end I'll probably lose that battle. :)
P.S. You can tether the Motion Pen; you'll never lose it then. No tether hole on the Wacom eraser pen though.
