Well, I guess it is time to contact Motion Tech Support. Lot of help they were on the last keyboard issue. Let's hope they have a better answer this go-round...
Does anyone have any idea why I cannot get my action buttons on the left side of the keyboad to work. you know, the ones up top in betwen the trackball and the mouse buttons at the top of the keyboard? The right side, with standby, power, etc, buttons work just fine, but I cannot ever get the left side - or media buttons - to work. Is there some kind of setting somewhere that I have to use to get them to work. I really could use that mute button to silence the tablet to keep IM sounds from coming through when I am with a patient...

Please let us know headgamer. Mine don't work either, now that you mention it.
Doesn't the manual describe how to set them? Right-click on a shortcut on your desktop (e.g. media player) select properties and there's a shortcut key textbox. Click in there and then press one of the buttons. It should show ctrl-X
where X is some letter. HIt apply and then that media button should launch the shortcut.
Ok. That worked. For launching the media player button. But what about teh play/stop/mute/volume up/volume down buttons? Just getting the one button to launch the media player doesn't get those buttons to work. And tere is no "shortcut" for mute, or volume up, and so on....quote:Originally posted by grv575

volume up/down should control the master volume (windows mixer). if not then try reinstalling the bluetooth driver and then remove and re-add the bluetooth keyboard to bluetooth devices. the other buttons (play/pause/stop) just send the default windows media player shortcut key sequences whenever windows media player is active btw - might be able to reconfigure them to launch apps but not sure.
